Valeggio sul Mincio is a Venetian town, crossed by the Mincio river and the Virgilio canal, located about 30 kilometers from Verona. The main feature of this dream place is that of being made up of two villages united in the same municipality: Borghetto and Valeggio, both of Lombard origin, even if the most important buildings date back to the medieval period when the area was the center of clashes and attempts of expansion by the local lords and the Republic of Venice.
